SYNAPTé

SYNAPTé is a part of the project TRAGEN.HZ, an oratorio “erasure” for projected environment composed of voices collected at the camp of Calais. Bitter, a voice: dismantling of vocal articulations, dismantling of the communities living in the camp. Groans of the oracle, a lamentation in search of consolation, primal voice altered, voice of the verdict that strikes through and reveals and reconstitutes these images, as a testimony of this long history of migration and war.

    Celine Pierre is a French multimedia author who received her degree from Paris’ National Higher School of Fine Arts in multimedia and performance with Marina Abramović. She  conceives and sets up projects around the participation of populations taking place in public spaces, realizes installations of experimental cinema and environments of visual and sound projections, radio pieces and film-essay. Those movies are composed between images, texts and musics and integration of danced performances.
