"YSME" D: Florian Doidy, FR 2014
Running time: 25’
“Ysme” is a variable level navigation between the real and the virtual, between the Camargue and Corsica, between an aircraft and its digital double, between symphonic music and sound design, between delicacy and chaos, between a tourism trip and a dreamlike artifice. This multi-media composition transforms the observer into a dreamer, the dreamer into an aviator, the one who flies into electric current, never quitting the most beautiful landscapes of the Mediterranean.

Florian began his musical studies at 6 years old, with his father. He followed the classical and improvisation, but soon decided to escape the academic curriculum, focusing on his ability to understand and create music, seeing only dead-end in artistic specialization. This philosophy propelled him toward very different experiences; the composition for theater, video and movies, sound recording, accompanying silent movies... Curiosity opened new passions, including aviation and video creation. “Ysme,” his first “film,” is the focal point of these passions.Filmography:YSME (2014)
